 Resident and Fellow Congress

The Tulane Resident and Fellow Congress is the residents’ voice to ensure the Office of Graduate Medical Education’s mission of striving for excellence in education. The Congress provides a mechanism by which residents can participate directly in GME activities. All current residents and fellows are members of the Congress, and peer-select representatives to serve as the elected body of the Congress. The TRFC serves as a discussion forum to develop ways to improve resident/fellow life, and as a vehicle to provide residents and fellows to raise concerns. Members of the Congress may self-nominate or may nominate other residents and fellows for elected positions. Elections are determined by a majority of resident/fellow votes received for all elected positions.
